Mediterranean specialties

If you are still not familiar with the magical cuisine of Dalmatia and Primorje, we warmly advise you to visit one of our taverns or restaurants. Beside international dishes they serve many domestic dishes and specialities.

Try fish prepared in traditional ways (brodet, marinade..), dried octopus with eggs, cuttlefish with homemade pasta, meat dishes with “surlice” (a sort of homemade pasta), young octopus salad, shrimps and shells risotto, black cuttlefish risotto, grooper “na leso” (boiled in water containing oil, wine vinegar, onions, laurel, pepper corn and salt), lamb “pod pekom” (baked a stone oven under a metal cover), octopus “pod pekom”  with Lopar potatoes... At the end enjoy some sweets and deserts like hrostuli, fritice, Rab cake or some other old fashion recipe sweets.
